Phillips Law, P.L.C. is a general practice law firm owned and operated by Bruce T. Phillips providing the most effective defense possible to those facing DUI, drunk driving, and other traffic tickets.
Mr. Phillips graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1985 and later worked for the Boeing Company as a Systems Engineer on NASA's Space Station Program.
During his time working for Boeing on the Space Station, Mr. Phillips served with the Tennessee Army National Guard as a cannoneer and gunner in a Howitzer crew. Bruce Phillips is a combat veteran of Operation Desert Storm in Iraq.
In 2000 he moved to Fairfax County, Virginia to attend George Mason University School of Law, where he obtained a J.D. Degree in May of 2003. He was admitted to practice law in Virginia that same year.
After obtaining a law license, Mr. Phillips had a solo law practice in Northern Virginia working primarily as an Independent Contractor for other attorneys, before moving to Blacksburg, Virginia in 2005 when he became the Student Legal Services Attorney at Virginia Tech.
Over the next 5 years he assisted thousands of Virginia Tech students with their legal problems.
In July 2010, Mr. Phillips started Phillips Law, P.L.C. in Christiansburg, Virginia.
He provides legal services and representation in a broad range of legal fields, in Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Radford, Floyd, Dublin, and Pulaski, Virginia. His primary focus is criminal defense attorney.
